Renowned rapper Sarkodie is poised to captivate his fans in Tema and beyond with a spectacular concert during the festive season.
Before the concert, the artist led his fans in Tema through a health walk named Sarkathon Today. This precursor to the ‘This is Tema’ Festival, a complimentary musical event by the Tema-born artist, drew a substantial crowd, particularly the youth, walking through diverse communities in the Tema Metropolis.

Having initiated the festival to give back to society and maintain ties with his childhood neighborhood where he launched his career, Sarkodie’s ‘This is Tema Festival’ is slated for December 2, 2023, at Chemu Park in Community 7. The event will showcase both emerging and A-listed musicians, with the venue equipped with a sizable stage, state-of-the-art lighting, and public address systems.
A notable distinction exists between the ‘This is Tema Festival’ and the Rapperholic concert. While the former is exclusively organized to express gratitude to Sarkodie’s fans in Tema for their unwavering support, the latter, Rapperholic, is open to all SarkNatives nationwide, appealing to a broader audience.
